Metallic Pigments are unique bright colour powders designed to be field blended with a 100% solids clear epoxy binder to create pearlescent and iridescent effects that mimic the natural look of stone and rock formations.
50 grams of metallic pigment can be mixed with 2-2.5 kg Clear Epoxy Resin to achieve special metallic effects that remind the natural seamless marble appearance.
Metallic Pigments are delivered in a range of colours, allowing you to mix the colours to create special custom designs.
Pearlescent grades with various colours, such as silvery pearl, flash white silver, sparkle pearl white are the most commonly used when mixed with darker colours like Brushed Steel, Charcoal, or Pearl Black to achive a bespoke silvery marble effect floor, worktop, or wall panels.
Due to the neutral silvery white shade, the Pearlescent colours can be applied on darker or lighter epoxy base coats, or even directly on concrete surfaces, creating a unique stained marble effect floor.
Brown shades of metallic pigments are often used to mimic the effect of the natural wood, making a seamless finish, on floors and on furniture. The most comonly used brown colours are Mocha and Brass.
Once mixed with Clear Epoxy Coating, the metallic pigments offer a gloss eye catching dramatic epoxy floor colour.
